Yes. Every conversion is free — no signup, no watermarks, no ads injected into your audio. We run on a small donation pool and the occasional non-intrusive sponsor in the footer.
We default to 320 kbps MP3 for the cleanest output. You can pick 192 kbps if you want a smaller file, or M4A if your player prefers it.
Up to 2 hours. Longer videos will be rejected — this keeps the queue fast for everyone. If you need a full lecture split into chapters, we do that automatically.
Nowhere. Files sit on the server for 15 minutes while you download them, then they're deleted. We do not keep a library of your conversions.
Yes. The site is mobile-first. Paste a YouTube URL from the YouTube app's Share menu and YT2Mp3Converter does the rest.
